Your personal information and what we do with it
- Why do you collect my information?
MAN v FAT Rugby is a male weight loss program provided by MAN v FAT Rugby Ltd. The aim of our program is to support you to lose weight, get fitter and lead a healthier lifestyle. We collect your information for eligibility and effective ongoing delivery on our program.
- Who do you get my data from?
We get your information from self-referral only when you complete the registration form.
- Under what premise are you allowed to use my data?
If you register for and/or participate in our program, we would be using your data on the basis that you have initially given us consent to do so, and from there that we are providing you with a service, which by itself gives us a basis for using your data.
- What information of mine do you use?
The personal data we use for you includes name, location data, phone, email, emergency contact information. We also use more sensitive data including ethnicity, health records and financial information.
- Do you share my information with anyone?
We share your information with other MAN v FAT Ltd services in the UK. This is for research studies, funding opportunities, reporting and service delivery or development. We share your information with partner organizations to enable the delivery of the program in your location. This includes employees of the organizations accessing your information. We may display your name on the club homepages or associated platforms to celebrate individual successes. For processing payments we use Stripe, which has Standard Contractual Clauses in place. - How long do you keep my information?
From exiting the program, we keep your information for Eight years unless you specifically ask us to delete it.
- Do you use any automated decision-making or profiling on my information?
No
- What do I do if I am concerned about how you are using my information?
MAN v FAT Rugby commits to provide our users with the following rights:
- The right to know about the personal information that we collect about you and how it is used and shared.
- The right to delete personal information collected by us (with some exceptions).
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information we have about you.
- The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information collected about you.
