These cereal bars are so easy to make and the perfect sweet treat swap for an on-the-go snack.
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4.
- Add the mashed banana, apple juice and egg whites to a bowl and stir.
- Add the oats and cinnamon, and mix well.
- Pour the mix into a 29cm non stick brownie tray.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tray before slicing into rectangular-shaped cereal bars and removing to store in an airtight container.
Tips
You could add a handful of chopped dates, raisins or cranberries. Go wild!
